You can open and view multiple EDB files having a large number of mailboxes with the help of this tool. An instant preview of all the items present in the mailboxes is generated. You can have a view of all the items; mails, journal, contacts, tasks, notes, etc.
Tool provides Dual Scanning Mode options: Quick & Advance Scan. If the EDB files are moderately corrupted, users can go through the Quick Scan option but, in case of severely damaged files, Advanced Scan feature can be taken under use.
A preview of all the attributes of each item can be availed like; from, to, subject, date, email address, etc. Also, the software retains all the attachments like documents, images, PDF files etc. embedded within the Exchange EDB emails.
The Exchange EDB Viewer software can recover both the types of .edb files: Exchange server Private store database (Priv.edb) and Exchange server Public store database (Pub.edb) without causing any issues and without hampering any data.
You can get the view of any size of EDB file up to TB. Software tested with 2 terabyte size of EDB file, tool successfully works with large size of EDB file without any issues and shows the preview of mailbox database along with attachments.
The Pro version of the software allows the user to view mails in multiple views. Emails can be viewed in Normal view, Hex view, Message header view, Properties view, MIME view, HTML view, RTF view and the Attachment view.
You can also save selective items from EDB files in PDF.There are two options available for exporting the items – You can select items that you want to export or you can export an item folder, as a single PDF file is created for each mail or item.
With advance search option you can easily search for keywords present in the EDB Files emails & also in their attachments. You can also enter any other criteria for searching & to filter items or emails from the data.
Once tool completed the scanning process, then it allows to export mailbox to PDF. Selected emails of Single or Multiple Mailboxes can be exported using checkbox option. Users need to select the items which they want to convert into PDF.
To save the converted EDB files as PDF, the tool provides naming convention option. The user can choose a common naming pattern for all emails as; subject, date, etc. By default, the subject based naming option is used by the software.
The software allows you to apply mail filter during the time of exporting EDB files as PDF files. This can be done by specifying the 'To' and 'From' date. The software will export mails lying in the specified date range.
A status report is generated by the tool during exporting process that shows the current status as well as final report on the completion of the PDF exporting process. It renders information regarding imported items count of mails, tasks etc.
